The 54th Leeds West Indian Carnival is returning with its second year as a Virtual Carnival event, and this year we’re celebrating our incredible legacy!
Lockdown has eased up, but as the pandemic continues, this year’s Carnival will return as a virtual celebration. This summer, the celebrations are covid safe with the return of some of your favourite events. We are still bringing the joy, vibes, excitement, our incredible legacy and much more.
Come and join us this August Bank Holiday Monday for the live streaming of our Carnival Celebrations. You can party in your front rooms and gardens.
A month of events have been planned which will lead us up to the Virtual Road. With this year’s theme being The Legacy Carnival, we are looking back at the past and bringing it through to the present.

After a successful 2020 Virtual Carnival last year, we’re excited to be returning with a Virtual Carnival and some of your favourite live events: The Princess and Princess Show and the King and Queen Show which are both about legacy – recycled costumes revitalised to celebrate the culture and spectacle of carnival.
