Based just a stone’s throw away from our Carnival headquarters, we consider Unity Housing Association to be friends and neighbours so we are delighted to share news of a new sponsorship deal for Leeds West Indian Carnival 2016.

Leeds Carnival Chairman Arthur France said, “The Carnival is at the heart of the Leeds cultural and visitor offer. Not only is it a true celebration of heritage and community harmony, it also gives the business sector opportunities to connect with thousands who attend our events over the Bank Holiday weekend. We are happy to share a joint commitment to engaging with the local community with Unity and look forward to working together once again.”

Ali Akbor, Executive Officer at Unity Housing and Enterprise added,  “Unity Housing and Enterprise  is proud to again support Leeds West Indian Carnival. This is an iconic event which celebrates the rich diversity of its communities and unites this great city, attracting people from the length and breadth of the country.”

With this year’s Leeds Carnival all set to be a dress rehearsal for our 2017 50th anniversary celebrations, we look forward to sharing more great news on our partnerships in the month to come.
